YAYA – 15 years old – first time mother

Since August 2014, Yaya has been part of the TONG BAI FOUNDATION. The elephant cow – born in 2004 – has a playful nature and feels particularly well in the presence of older elephant ladies. Especially her long eyelashes, the pronounced tail hair and her brownish skin color make her a pretty elephant cow. On December 30, 2017, her first calf, Phu Sinan, was born alive and well. Since then, there is a close bond between the two – their communication loudly can be heard throughout the valley.
